Elastic waterproofing cement product – 3021 IZOLATEX

Product Description — Two-component, cement-based elastic waterproofing agent. Liquid component: elastic polymer emulsion for interior and exterior work. Loose component: cement-based agent with special chemical additives that provide waterproofing and productivity.

Scope of application — For bathrooms, showers, toilets and other rooms with increased humidity. — For balconies and terraces. — For foundations and foundations. — For pools, water reservoirs and other humid structures. — For use on concrete, plaster, screed, etc.

Features — Ideal waterproofing before facing with ceramic tiles or arranging screed. —Can be used for drinking water tanks. —Has a high level of adhesion. —Does not cause corrosion of reinforcing material and metal. —Can be applied on vertical and horizontal surfaces. —Resists carbonation of concrete. —Resists freeze-thaw cycles. —Easy to apply by brush, roller or spray.

Instructions for use— The surface must be even and durable. Clean the surface from dust, dirt, oil and loose particles that could interfere with adhesion. Smooth out any unevenness on the surface with TAMIRART correcting solution.— The surface should be protected from sunlight, rain and dust for 1 day before applying the product. Before application, thoroughly moisten the surface, but do not let it get wet.— When using a brush, mix 20 kg of dry product with 5 liters of liquid. It is recommended to use a mixer at low speeds. Mix until a homogeneous mass is obtained.— The resulting solution should be left to mature for 5 minutes. Stir again for 1-2 minutes before use.— Spread the prepared solution evenly on the surface in two layers with a brush or spatula. The second layer, depending on the temperature, should be applied 5-6 hours after the first layer. Apply the layers perpendicular to each other. A total thickness of 2-3 mm is sufficient.— To reinforce corners and edges, use seam tape. In the absence of seam tape, the corners should be rounded and reinforcing mesh should be added to the solution.

— Use the prepared solution within 2 hours. In case of high temperature, low humidity, wind or similar unfavorable conditions, the time may be reduced. Do not use a solution whose expiration date has expired. At the end of the work, wash your hands and tools thoroughly. — After applying the solution to the surface, protect it from direct sunlight, rain, frost and wind. — The IZOFLEX surface should be covered with a screed, ceramic or similar protective facing material. — At least 7 days should elapse before operation or covering with facing material. If the material is used for a water tank, at least 28 days should elapse until complete hardening. After complete hardening, the water tank should be rinsed with hot water.

Storage — Store the liquid component in a place protected from direct sunlight at a temperature of +5°С – +23°С. — Store the loose component in kraft bags in a dry place in stacks of maximum 10 rows.
