Description
A single-component waterproofing coating material made of liquid plastic, based on elastomeric
resin.

Area of ​​application

• Insulation of concrete and plastered surfaces, galvanized baths, galvanized surfaces, aluminum, PVC, polystyrene foam, unpainted wood, roofs and terraces.
• External waterproofing of buildings.
• Insulation of cracks, roof edges, fascias, tile joints and other structures and parts.

Surface preparation

• The surface must be dry, clean and solid.
• Clean the surface to be treated from dust, dirt, grease, paint,
  which reduces adhesion.
• Remove loose materials from the surface by mechanical means.
• Fix any broken parts, cracks and damage with Tamirart series products.
• Make horizontal and vertical Sealing of edges with Tamirart S40
  construction-repair mortar.
• If it is not possible to cover with construction-repair mortar, then insulate horizontal
  and
• vertical edges, parapet corners, crevices, lower parts of chimneys
  and other similar places with the appropriate type of Kalekim sealing tape. These
  works should be carried out after applying the first layer of Elastikor.
• Due to absorption, prime the surface with Kalekim Astar before application.
• For metal surfaces, use an anti-corrosion primer.

Instructions for use

• Stir Elastikor with a mixer at low speed, apply with a brush or roller in 3 layers
  on horizontal surfaces and 2 layers
  on vertical surfaces. The total
  thickness of the applied material should be 1.0 – 1.5 mm.
• Apply the second layer after the first layer has completely dried.
• The waiting time between layers is 4 hours, depending on the ambient temperature. This time can be increased to 24 hours, depending on the air temperature and relative humidity.

Care and further recommendations

• 3131 Elastikor is a ready-to-use material, to which no other substances should be added,
  except those recommended in the technical passport.
• The material must be used before the expiration date. Do not use expired materials when performing work.
• When using, be careful not to damage the insulation material due to mechanical impact and protect the waterproofing material while it dries.
• In the first few days, protect surfaces with new waterproofing from direct sunlight,
  intensive air movement, high air temperature (+35°C), precipitation, frost
  and other adverse climatic influences.

• In between uses, store the material in a closed container. Protect from freezing.
• When reinforcing large surfaces and covering cracks, use Elastikor together with a special waterproofing mesh. For the insulation of parapet corners, crevices, chimney bottoms and other similar areas, it is recommended to use the appropriate type of Kalekim sealing tape or a special waterproofing mesh. These works should be carried out after applying the first layer of Elastiko. Or the material should be applied using a special waterproofing mesh. • Do not use at excessively high temperatures, under direct sunlight or in weather conditions such as strong wind, fog, rain or in case of danger of freezing.
  Low temperatures and high relative humidity may increase the drying time.

  Do not use in rainy weather, protect the surface from rain for 24 hours after application.

  Do not use in areas with negative water pressure.

  Surfaces exposed to the movement of people and goods must be covered with a protective coating (traffic, ceramic tiles).

  For subsequent ceramic coverings, use an elastic adhesive that provides at least S1 characteristics. Elastikor increases the absorbency of the surface before drying after sandblasting.

  Do not use on surfaces exposed to standing water.

  Do not allow the surface to become wet after application.
